Eulalio Xabier started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Iwo Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Posadzki in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Posadzki came free, but Tomás Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in UÅ Mästerbotten's zone, Folke Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Magnus Ekrot came out of the goal and Folke Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lugo in the 12th minute of play forced UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to UÅ Mästerbotten getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Iwo Posadzki hit a great ball. UÅ Mästerbotten's Karl-Magnus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Stephansson in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Joseph Liljeström threw the ball into play from the sideline. UÅ Mästerbotten's Alp Doğay quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Posadzki in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Guillen saved Timmernabben FF from getting behind. UÅ Mästerbotten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iwo Kilar in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, UÅ Mästerbotten's Schubert Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Karl-Magnus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by UÅ Mästerbotten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Folke Lövgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Timmernabben FF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Folke Lövgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Magnus Ekrot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Lugo to make the kick off. The supporters of UÅ Mästerbotten booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Panikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Rafael to maneuver through the defense. Iwo Kilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Sylwester Panikowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Iwo Kilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Guillen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl-Magnus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Stephansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben FF's Zé Rafael got a free kick in the 86th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Timmernabben FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Kaká Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Ekrot having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Hernández Fernández came free, but Tomás Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernández Fernández in the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
