Ronny Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronny Sundström made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Alexis Sánchez sent off a good shot on target. Richard Pilgren charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Pilgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Stockholm Generals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Pilgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Sánchez came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kant Spel fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BENA FK's protests and gave Kant Spel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stockholm Generals booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kant Spel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Pavlovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Pavlovský, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes BENA FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Ariwibowo who took care of the corner kick. Brian Bryngelsson made a great header on Stockholm Generals's corner, it was just that BENA FK's Ronny Sundström managed to reach the ball for a save. Torsten Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kant Spel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zachary Anszczak hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Pavlovský came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Alexis Sánchez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 40 minutes into the game, Milan Pavlovský recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronny Sundström. Milan Pavlovský showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Milan Pavlovský kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronny Sundström. That made the score 3-0 in the 48 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milan Pavlovský to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alexis Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Milan Pavlovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alexis Sánchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BENA FK's Ronny Sundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stockholm Generals's Sebastian Forsell was substituted for Brian Bryngelsson. BENA FK's Ola Utter was substituted for Anthon Åström. In the 71st minute, Milan Pavlovský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm Generals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Alexis Sánchez put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ronny Sundström. Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 82nd minute of the match. Ronny Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm Generals.
