FC Zorro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viggo Jönsätt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, FC Zorro's Viggo Jönsätt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Fredriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Viggo Jönsätt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steinar Stålhandske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Viggo Jönsätt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Timmy Rönn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balders Hage IF and the FC Zorro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Zorro booed when Balders Hage IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes FC Zorro got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Jönsätt. Sakarias Skytt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Zorro's Fathoni Andrich tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viggo Jönsätt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Viggo Jönsätt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zorro's supporters rose to their feet, but Viggo Jönsätt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Jönsätt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Eric Fredriksson made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Eric Fredriksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Asklund in the 61st minute of play. Viggo Jönsätt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eric Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nils Asklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steinar Stålhandske. The FC Zorro fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when FC Zorro's Viggo Jönsätt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Zorro's Ivan Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Jansson in the 73rd minute of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Viggo Jönsätt from a close distance when the talented Eric Fredriksson managed to make a qualified save. Balders Hage IF's players were relieved. Eric Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Fathoni Andrich sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viggo Jönsätt. Viggo Jönsätt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Eric Fredriksson made a huge save. A collision led to Balders Hage IF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Timmy Rönn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Garci in the 91st minute of play forced Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
