In the 11thth minute of the game Folke Melin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kolsva FK's Niclas Vennerdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Persson in the 15th minute of play. Kolsva FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jack Bengtsson in the 19th minute. After 23 played minutes Kolsva FK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Hedman. 25 minutes into the game, Kolsva FK's Ivar Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malcolm Wall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 28th match minute, Kolsva FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Hedman to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Näver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Johannes Axelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolsva FK the free kick. The supporters of Kolsva FK booed when Pauliström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ivar Persson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Malcolm Wall to make any attempt to save it. Malcolm Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Persson in the 38th minute. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Grelsson in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pauliström's zone, Ivar Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal and Ivar Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Ivar Persson made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Wall. Pauliström's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Melin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Folke Melin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Niclas Vennerdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Ivar Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolsva FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivar Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Ivar Persson made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Persson might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Kolsva FK booed when Pauliström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
