In the 46th minute of the game Andreas Stolpe made a throw-in which Bernt Runberg played forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Lidström made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Bloodthirsty FC's Rune Söder threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Lidström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led to Bloodthirsty FC's Nils Lidström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Löv in the 57th minute of play. Kenneth Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Alcaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Olsson in the 59th minute of the match. Kenneth Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mark Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Biörkquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Håkan Viklund fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Håkan Viklund a yellow card for diving instead.
