Plan B's Örjan Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Degerfors IF's Örjan Andersson threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tuncay Cansever, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Hansson in the 27th minute of play. Degerfors IF's attentive Mattias Västlund managed to snatch the ball when Peter Buck made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Nikkinen in the 35th minute of play. Bennvar Nikkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Mattias Västlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Peter Buck in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Degerfors IF's Philip Kihlman. After taking down the ball on Plan B's corner Jens Westerberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Håkan Söderberg quite easily take care of the ball. Jens Westerberg had several of the Degerfors IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Håkan Söderberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Örjan Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Plan B's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Örjan Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Rolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Håkan Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Maore to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Nikkinen got free with Håkan Söderberg in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Degerfors IF's 김 손 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jens Westerberg, made in the 86th minute of the game. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
