Grytöl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK FOTBOLL the free kick. In the 10th minute, Tomas Kock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Henriksson came free, but Arne Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Henriksson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Elof Hedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK FOTBOLL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Josef Kiempe hit a great ball. The throw-in from Olov Deckberg in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grytöl's Kent Wenerdahl. If Elof Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Erik Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Hedin in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Arne Torstensson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Grytöl's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hedin came free, but Karl-Erik Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Västlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elof Hedin's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Henriksson in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Elof Hedin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund. Karl-Erik Västlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Johan Kuse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Erik Västlund. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Grytöl from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund got control of the ball when Johan Kuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Elof Hedin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Västlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Arne Torstensson to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Grytöl's Arne Kilström threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christer Johansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. AIK FOTBOLL's Olov Deckberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Björk in the 54 minute of the game. When Leonardo Björk was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Leonardo Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Stig-Arne Skålberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Grytöl's Christer Johansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Kilström. Arne Kilström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Benne Speed replaced Wen Hong Qing. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Pedro Paulo Mesquita replaced Elof Hedin. AIK FOTBOLL's Robert Hermansson was substituted for Johan Kuse. Karl-Erik Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Pedro Paulo Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Västlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 76th minute Pedro Paulo Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Stig-Arne Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Skålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Västlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Pedro Paulo Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Västlund. Grytöl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Arne Kilström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Markusson in the 92nd minute. Grytöl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
