In the 6th minute of the match North Pole Kickers got a corner. No Gravity FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Ahlbeck ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led North Pole Kickers's Michael Ahlbeck to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustín Brei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in No Gravity FC's zone, Anders Byström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Brei came out of the goal and Anders Byström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, No Gravity FC's Zula Kasiewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anders Byström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Agustín Brei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Zula Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Brei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Brei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Byström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Byström to make the kick off. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Nenkov in the 51st minute of play. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Boris Nenkov sped through North Pole Kickers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folke Bure. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kryspin Chwalkiewicz hit a great ball. When No Gravity FC's Zula Kasiewski in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
