An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Askstedt in the 6th minute of play forced Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper Algot Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algot Ennegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Björling in the 9th minute. Arne Askstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Tord Gustafsson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Algot Ennegren. Yngve Kollberg charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yngve Kollberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Ove Levander to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Linghed Angels FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Barck to maneuver through the defense. Arne Askstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Askstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens Björling in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algot Ennegren saved Linghed Angels FC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Linghed Angels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Gustafsson came free, but Algot Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Gustafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Gustafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Levander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linghed Angels FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smurfarna the free kick. The supporters of Smurfarna booed when Linghed Angels FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Levander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Fors was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Algot Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Gustafsson in the 81st minute of the match. Jens Björling struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Algot Ennegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smurfarna. In the 84th minute, Arne Askstedt made a precise shot to the right of Algot Ennegren. Linghed Angels FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 94th minute Tord Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Smurfarna had played much better football throughout.
