Spectators: 146 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Kai Havertz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Altar SK 1283 got a freekick which was hit by Kai Havertz. After having played for 4 minutes, Kenny N'Diaye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newells Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny N'Diaye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Altar SK 1283's goalkeeper Batuhan Yalazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lokman Sağlamtürk. In the 12th minute of the match Newells Old Boys got a corner. Altar SK 1283's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alptuğ Behram ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Newells Old Boys's Alptuğ Behram to fire away a dangerous shot which Batuhan Yalazan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Havertz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nihat İlsak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenny N'Diaye scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batuhan Yalazan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Hao Ning Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nihat İlsak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Lokman Sağlamtürk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Batuhan Yalazan. Lokman Sağlamtürk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Altar SK 1283 defense, Lokman Sağlamtürk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batuhan Yalazan. The Altar SK 1283 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batuhan Yalazan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Havertz in the 32nd minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Nihat İlsak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petrică Lamru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lokman Sağlamtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Havertz in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny N'Diaye was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Altar SK 1283 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Demircan Lokman hit a great ball. 51 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's Alptuğ Behram broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 58th minute, Lokman Sağlamtürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kai Havertz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nihat İlsak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Ali Sağlam in the 63rd minute of play forced Altar SK 1283's goalkeeper Batuhan Yalazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Zikri Temizcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lokman Sağlamtürk in the 68th minute of play forced Altar SK 1283's goalkeeper Batuhan Yalazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nihat İlsak was a little too slow when Wojciech Pracki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 3-1. Hao Ning Chao struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nihat İlsak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altar SK 1283. Altar SK 1283 made a substitution. Baykal Asya replaced Demircan Lokman. Altar SK 1283's Balaban Ungur was substituted for Hao Ning Chao. Altar SK 1283's Anıl Ege Refettin was substituted for Özkan Nurbay. In the 78th minute, Lokman Sağlamtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newells Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Nihat İlsak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Havertz in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nihat İlsak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Zikri Temizcan got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balaban Ungur in the 95th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Nihat İlsak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Altar SK 1283 booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykut Canser didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altar SK 1283 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Newells Old Boys.
