Bahattin Yetkiner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Orhan Tanay went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. LanternGarden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abuzer Çakır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abuzer Çakır stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MALATYASPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while LanternGarden had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
