After 3 minutes, Başaran Tuncay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnadoluSporFK and the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL players grew even worse after the yellow card. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Arif Çelebi Tüzel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nando Muslera. The goal made the score 1-0. If Urbano Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Arif Çelebi Tüzel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nando Muslera. Urbano Jagos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Nando Muslera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Urbano Jago had several of the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Nando Muslera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Urbano Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nando Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AnadoluSporFK's zone, Wiktor Basinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İbrahim Ergenç came out of the goal and Wiktor Basinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera got control of the ball when Arif Çelebi Tüzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Serhan Başarman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İbrahim Ergenç skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL defense, Nektarios Vrachopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Muslera. The VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Muslera should have stopped the shot. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Tüzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Çelebi Tüzel made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulaş Balaban to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes AnadoluSporFK got a freekick which was hit by Başaran Tuncay. The supporters of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL booed when AnadoluSporFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başaran Tuncay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AnadoluSporFK's zone, Serhan Başarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İbrahim Ergenç came out of the goal and Serhan Başarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Muslera saved VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL from getting behind. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Tuner, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, AnadoluSporFK's goal looked a bit too open when Yunus Boztepe came free, but İbrahim Ergenç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Muslera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arif Çelebi Tüzel was slow to take the kick. During this time AnadoluSporFK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to AnadoluSporFK's Volkan Tuner getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Arif Çelebi Tüzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nando Muslera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erenay Mutluer got free with İbrahim Ergenç in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulaş Balaban was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 83 minutes into the game, AnadoluSporFK's Arif Çelebi Tüzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The audience was convinced that Arif Çelebi Tüzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nando Muslera was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Arif Çelebi Tüzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Arif Çelebi Tüzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, AnadoluSporFK's Zachariasz Ratulowski made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando Muslera was left in no man's land by his defense there! AnadoluSporFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
