Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) 2 minutes into the match, Jérémy Doku had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göksel Canfeda. istanbulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jérémy Doku was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, D.e.s.n.a's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Ye Kang Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Patric Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Kang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ye Kang Zhan made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alp Enginalp sent off a good shot on target. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Berk Sökmener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Bierhoff in the 15th minute of play forced D.e.s.n.a's goalkeeper Ye Kang Zhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Berk Sökmener in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, D.e.s.n.a's Ye Kang Zhan got control of the ball when Berkay Şahiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Patric Bierhoff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ye Kang Zhan. Patric Bierhoff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérémy Doku in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, one of istanbulls:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 45thth minute of the game Jérémy Doku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. D.e.s.n.a's Šako Marunović was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Göksel Canfeda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alp Enginalp thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Göksel Canfeda, a very annoying self made goal in the 47th minute which led to 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patric Bierhoff to make the kick off. D.e.s.n.a's Ye Kang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Chong Kang in the 58th minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes D.e.s.n.a got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Berk Sökmener. Göksel Canfeda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Berk Sökmener in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Berk Sökmener. Zeng Chong Kang might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ye Kang Zhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeng Chong Kang ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in D.e.s.n.a's zone, Patric Bierhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ye Kang Zhan came out of the goal and Patric Bierhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Jérémy Doku tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeng Chong Kang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ye Kang Zhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. istanbulls's Berkay Şahiner got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Gazanfer Özcan Periz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Göksel Canfeda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
