The supporters of Golden Hills booed when Tollesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nkadi Akinrolabu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Sparks struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Manasseh Adejuyigbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Hills. Manasseh Adejuyigbe made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ward Doran sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Tollesbury getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nkadi Akinrolabu hit a great ball. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Langston Eziaghighala in the 14th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Tollesbury's Langston Eziaghighala made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egil Östlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Tollesbury's Manasseh Adejuyigbe got control of the ball when Ward Doran tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tollesbury's goalkeeper Manasseh Adejuyigbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Golden Hills's Egil Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uchechukwu Etafia in the 27th minute of play. Manasseh Adejuyigbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Doran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Tollesbury:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Golden Hills:s goal. Santo Sparks walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Manasseh Adejuyigbe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ward Doran went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ward Doran succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 40th playminute. After 43 minutes, Ify Uwen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tollesbury and the Golden Hills players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Timothy Ismaila Taiwo fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tollesbury's protests and gave Timothy Ismaila Taiwo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Timothy Ismaila Taiwo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Egil Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Langston Eziaghighala, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Ward Doran made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manasseh Adejuyigbe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Santo Sparks made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manasseh Adejuyigbe came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Hills's Ward Doran. But to his dismay, Ward Doran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 81st match minute, Golden Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward Doran to maneuver through the defense. Egil Östlund made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ndidi Ikani sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Ndidi Ikani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egil Östlund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th minute, Ward Doran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Hills fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Manasseh Adejuyigbe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ward Doran went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After 94 played minutes Tollesbury got a freekick which was hit by Olakunle Udoka. When Santo Sparks came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Sparks couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Golden Hills players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
