Garrett Gladu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tora Suarlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Greencard's goalkeeper Nanang Wardhana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chong Lamontagne. In the 7th minute, Chong Lamontagne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nanang Wardhana. The goal made the score 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Juliusz Szostak from a close distance when the talented Nanang Wardhana managed to make a qualified save. Greencard's players were relieved. C.S.M. Resita's Garrett Gladu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tora Suarlan in the 14th minute of play. Nanang Wardhana made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Chong Lamontagne sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Block kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mamat Wirayudha kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Karl Kornilov had to leave the field with a concussion. 27 minutes into the game, Chong Lamontagne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.M. Resita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greencard the free kick. Greencard made a substitution. Victor Beckström replaced Karl Kornilov. A collision led to C.S.M. Resita getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Chong Lamontagne hit a great ball. Erasmo Mooney lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Greencard booed when C.S.M. Resita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chong Lamontagne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Mamat Wirayudha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chong Lamontagne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes C.S.M. Resita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Immanuel Mandias who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Immanuel Mandias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.S.M. Resita's Garrett Gladu did a great save. C.S.M. Resita's Garrett Gladu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tora Suarlan in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, C.S.M. Resita's goal looked a bit too open when Tora Suarlan came free, but Garrett Gladu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chong Lamontagne kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chong Lamontagne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, C.S.M. Resita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chong Lamontagne to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Chong Lamontagne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.M. Resita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chong Lamontagne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When C.S.M. Resita's Chong Lamontagne in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Greencard's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tora Suarlan in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garrett Gladu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Quincy Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Greencard's Tora Suarlan in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S.M. Resita's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tora Suarlan in the 64th minute of play forced C.S.M. Resita's goalkeeper Garrett Gladu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 76 minutes, Quincy Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.M. Resita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Cahill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Santo Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garrett Gladu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tora Suarlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Chong Lamontagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nanang Wardhana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Mariano Lott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nanang Wardhana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Greencard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Harriet to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes, Lorenzo Ott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.M. Resita and the Greencard players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lorenzo Ott kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greencard players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.S.M. Resita.
