After a defensive mix-up in Durian FC's zone, Nicky Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Waselenczuk came out of the goal and Nicky Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute of the match Christopher Panjaitan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarrett Rosenberg skillfully saved the ball. If Patrick Fontenot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 played minutes M. Andik Sumadipraja rounded Cosmos Soccer Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Jarrett Rosenberg was a little too slow when M. Andik Sumadipraja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Patrick Fontenot might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Waselenczuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Fontenot ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, M. Andik Sumadipraja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but M. Andik Sumadipraja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Amor. In the 38th match minute, Durian FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevanus Wijanarko to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Fontenot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leon Waselenczuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's Donovan Heath sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Waselenczuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. M. Andik Sumadipraja was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Syamsul Rinaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes, Christopher Panjaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durian FC and the Cosmos Soccer Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Durian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Panjaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Patrick Fontenot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Marcus Rush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Syamsul Rinaldi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durian FC. 69 minutes into the game, Durian FC's Syamsul Rinaldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarrett Rosenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Durian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Panjaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendri Witoelar in the 78th minute of play. Patrick Fontenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Waselenczuk having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Syamsul Rinaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syamsul Rinaldi in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 93rd minute of play forced Durian FC's goalkeeper Leon Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Syamsul Rinaldi made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Durian FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
