Brian Herget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Boca Juniors's J.C. Ogden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.C. Ogden in the 13th minute of play forced Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolga Tümkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Dixon in the 14th minute of play. Roman Rollins made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Vidar Alegren sent off a good shot on target. Tolga Tümkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.C. Ogden in the 18th minute of the match. Tolga Tümkurt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of J.C. Ogden's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Diniz came free, but Tolga Tümkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Owens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolga Tümkurt having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Saul Owens made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Owens in the 53rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitinho Diniz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Stuart in the 61st minute of play forced Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernie Dixon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolga Tümkurt. That made the score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. With a little luck, Strong Survive's Tolga Tümkurt got control of the ball when Jason Stuart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tolga Tümkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Stuart, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Strong Survive's Saul Owens in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Strong Survive booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Holley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strong Survive made a substitution. Wilfred Conn replaced Mürsel Lefter. Strong Survive's Damien Arias was substituted for Monroe Cervantes. After 79 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Shelby Cruz. Saul Owens struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Roman Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strong Survive. Strong Survive's Tolga Tümkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 82nd minute of play. Tolga Tümkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shelby Cruz in the 84th minute of the match. Strong Survive's Tolga Tümkurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Strong Survive from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Dixon came free, but Tolga Tümkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Alegren in the 91st minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's Saul Owens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Rollins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Strong Survive.
