In the 11th minute Bianco Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Bartolomucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Oier in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute Felix Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Bartolomucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Bartolomucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bianco Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Dams in the 22nd minute of play. Bianco Altobelli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Federico Frabetti sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Oier came free, but Eugenio Bartolomucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Dams in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Sforza in the 37th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Bartolomucci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bianco Sforza went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Lupi Grigi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lupi Grigi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulvio De Marco in the 52nd minute. The corner ended in Felix Oier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci did a great save. After 54 minutes of play, Lupi Grigi's Frederik Dams made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Bartolomucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lupi Grigi made a substitution. Eraldo Giancola replaced Fulvio De Marco. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederik Dams got free with Eugenio Bartolomucci in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lupi Grigi made a substitution. Carlo Puddu replaced Frederik Dams. After 74 minutes of play, Cacciola's Nunez Hernando made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Altobelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlo Puddu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Bartolomucci having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Cordarrol during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Cacciola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lupi Grigi's performance. The match ended with a win for Lupi Grigi.
