The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Ranieri during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Cristoforo Ranieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goal looked a bit too open when Lambis Kazantzakoglou came free, but Ercole Faiella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Lilywhites got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Pasquale. 14 minutes into the game, GREEK ARMY's Jardel Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ercole Faiella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Camillo Carta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Styrbjörn Stokken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabiano Torri kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Jardel Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ercole Faiella. Lilywhites's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ercole Faiella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lambis Kazantzakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Torri's late challenge caught a GREEK ARMY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Torri helped the player get up and apologised. Fabiano Torri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Cristiano Travaglini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Cristiano Travaglini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lilywhites's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEK ARMY the free kick. Ercole Faiella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Sergipano in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Cristoforo Ranieri got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Jardel Sergipano made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lilywhites's Ercole Faiella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute of the match Aris Skilas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ercole Faiella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristoforo Ranieri kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jardel Sergipano scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Faiella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel Sergipano to make the kick off. Lambis Kazantzakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Faiella having to interfere. In the 54th minute Ciro Riccitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Faiella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, GREEK ARMY's Jardel Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ercole Faiella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 59th minute, but Ercole Faiella got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lilywhites hanging dry this time. GREEK ARMY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vlassis Mellios in the 63rd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Lambis Kazantzakoglou got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-6. 63 minutes into the match. GREEK ARMY made a substitution. Grigoris Karagiotakis replaced Lambis Kazantzakoglou. In the 68th minute GREEK ARMY were awarded a corner. Vlassis Mellios went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristoforo Ranieri thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ercole Faiella, a very annoying self made goal in the 69th minute which led to 0-7. In the 75th minute, Cristoforo Ranieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GREEK ARMY made a substitution. Vrasidas Drambas replaced Recep Tayyip Özakıncı. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when Lilywhites was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Ranieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Musso in the 79th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Styrbjörn Stokken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Musso's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Grigoris Karagiotakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ercole Faiella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Vrasidas Drambas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jardel Sergipano in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ercole Faiella, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ercole Faiella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Jardel Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lilywhites getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edmondo Carciofo hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GREEK ARMY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
