An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 13th minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Samir Afacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelios Melas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Hicran, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Samir Afacan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Labiridis in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the San Mauro A Mare FC defense, Odysseas Lazaroglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samir Afacan. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samir Afacan should have stopped the shot. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save AEK KAVALAS FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Cristiano Patricelli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to San Mauro A Mare FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristiano Patricelli hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Levent Hicran to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelios Melas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Hicran, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Hicran in the 58th minute of play. Soulis Aggelakoglou was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, San Mauro A Mare FC's Samir Afacan got control of the ball when Odysseas Lazaroglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Takis Rodostoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samir Afacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takis Rodostoglou hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. San Mauro A Mare FC's Augusto Riso was substituted for Francesco Cremonese. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Tony Rosa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Alex Orsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Melas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Melas having to interfere. Stelios Melas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Rosa scored 4-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelios Melas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Orsi in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelios Melas saved AEK KAVALAS FC from getting behind. Makis Labiridis hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, AEK KAVALAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Orsi came free, but Stelios Melas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the AEK KAVALAS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Mauro A Mare FC.
