Marcos Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Nalaskowski in the 10th minute of play forced Rosenborg's goalkeeper Cristoforo Morini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Piotr Nalaskowski made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Morini. Rosenborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 25 minutes, Piotr Nalaskowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRAL VAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piotr Nalaskowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Stefano Ascani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRAL VAL's Angelo Bonanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save BRAL VAL from getting a goal against them. Marcos Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Morini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Nalaskowski in the 36th minute of play. If Piotr Nalaskowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosenborg's goalie prevented a goal. Cristoforo Morini came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski. But to his dismay, Piotr Nalaskowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piotr Nalaskowski to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Rosenborg's Cosimo Mandelli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cosimo Mandelli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rosenborg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cosimo Mandelli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rosenborg made a substitution. Luciano Lluques replaced Marcos Carioca. Rosenborg:s Cristoforo Morini showed great skill when he stopped Stefano Ascani:s penalty. Cristoforo Morini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Nalaskowski in the 61st minute. Cristoforo Morini was a little too slow when Piotr Nalaskowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-3. With his leg Cristoforo Morini managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Piotr Nalaskowski in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Morini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The nice shot from Piotr Nalaskowski in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cristoforo Morini had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience was convinced that Piotr Nalaskowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Morini was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Luciano Lluques struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Angelo Bonanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosenborg. Luciano Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angelo Bonanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Nalaskowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Cristoforo Morini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. BRAL VAL's Ferruccio Gervasi was substituted for Eugenio Riccardi. 95 minutes into the match, BRAL VAL's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Lluques came free, but Angelo Bonanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Morini came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski. But to his dismay, Piotr Nalaskowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The BRAL VAL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BRAL VAL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
