Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Horses's Antonis Ikonomeas. But to his dismay, Antonis Ikonomeas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Antonis Ikonomeas could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Theagenis Giannou however easily saved by the left post. Green Horses's Efthimis Psaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ali Poyraz in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ali Poyraz came free, but Efthimis Psaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paris Mourlos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Odysseas Terzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Horses's supporters rose to their feet, but Odysseas Terzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theagenis Giannou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iason Dimitratos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Désiré Kaká came free, but Efthimis Psaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Giannou made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Antonis Ikonomeas sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 43 minutes, Chan Clet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Horses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chan Clet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Antonis Ikonomeas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Chan Clet made the kick off in the second half. Theagenis Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkaios Bougiouklis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Terzis came free, but Theagenis Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chan Clet in the 71st minute of play. When Green Horses's Chan Clet in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goalie prevented a goal. Chan Clet spun around in front of the goal 75 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goal. The Green Horses fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Green Horses's Chan Clet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th minute Antonis Ikonomeas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Giannou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efthimis Psaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Neochoritis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasio Lewkowicz in the 90th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Efthimis Psaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chan Clet came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Green Horses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chan Clet couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Green Horses.
