An unexpectedly hard shot by Bóas Pernas in the 4th minute of play forced Bada Bing Club's goalkeeper Ünal Başar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Wright got free with Sálvio Ramalho in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Osokin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Peter Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Peter Wright ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sálvio Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Toma Soda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ünal Başar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bóas Pernas in the 34th minute of the match. José Bomba hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's attentive Saúl Zambujal managed to snatch the ball when Guillerme Salazar made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. José Bomba scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ünal Başar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when Bada Bing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Krayivsjkyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Igor Tudor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bada Bing Club the free kick. Igor Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toma Soda was slow to take the kick. During this time Bada Bing Club's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Stanislav Krayivsjkyi drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper. 61 minutes into the game, Bóas Pernas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ünal Başar. Bóas Pernas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After 68 played minutes F.C. Paços de Ferreira got a freekick which was hit by Igor Tudor. Bada Bing Club's Jonas Bermejo was substituted for Ángel Fernández. In the 69th match minute, F.C. Paços de Ferreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Tudor to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Bada Bing Club's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Ünal Başar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünal Başar having to interfere. In the 84th minute Peter Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Peter Wright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Ünal Başar threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Bomba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
