Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jago Urquijo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Paes in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rainerio Obis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kajar Indrekson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Cuadrado saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Tallia Incera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Cuadrado came out and tried to block the shot, but Tallia Incera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Rainerio Obis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Rolando Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jago Urquijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. Husky made a substitution. Mino Quesada replaced Ildefonso Abalos. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kajar Indrekson made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kajar Indrekson in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. Jacinto Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tallia Incera in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rainerio Obis. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Cuadrado should have stopped the shot. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Napier in the 94th minute of play. Rolando Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jago Urquijo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Boca Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
