After taking down the ball on FC Dezassete's corner Hamlet Häfliger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Máximo Laureano quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dezassete's zone, Gentil Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Marin came out of the goal and Gentil Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Aleksander Kapera with Gentil Setúbal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 25 minutes into the game, Frederico Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dezassete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dezassete's Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 26th minute of play. Meng Di Jun might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Laureano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meng Di Jun ran back to his position shaking his head. Máximo Laureano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Meng Di Jun in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Gentil Setúbal made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Marin. FC Dezassete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The FC Dezassete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Marin should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gentil Setúbal got free with Miguel Marin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gentil Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meng Di Jun in the 60th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gentil Setúbal in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Marin saved FC Dezassete from getting behind. If Gentil Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Gunnar Löfgren replaced Fabien Raillard. In the 68th minute, Gentil Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Dezassete's Branco Tinto was substituted for Meng Di Jun. FC Dezassete made a substitution. When the match was over Terceirense F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Dezassete throughout the match.
