The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Gentil Setúbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meng Di Jun in the 13th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meng Di Jun in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Terceirense F.C. got a corner. FC Dezassete's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabien Raillard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Meng Di Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fabien Raillard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Máximo Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meng Di Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Pinheiro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Meng Di Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máximo Laureano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Gentil Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gentil Setúbal scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gentil Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. You received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Máximo Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Terceirense F.C.'s zone, Meng Di Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Laureano came out of the goal and Meng Di Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Dezassete booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermano Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Meng Di Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hermano Campelo hit a great ball. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Aleksander Kapera replaced Gunnar Löfgren. Terceirense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aleksander Kapera in the 91st minute. Aleksander Kapera made a great header on Terceirense F.C.'s corner, it was just that FC Dezassete's Miguel Marin managed to reach the ball for a save.
