The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beto Rodríguez made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Klaus Van Mellart sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Palmiro Bettencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Rodríguez was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sugih Linggawarman in the 16th minute of play forced Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Sugih Linggawarman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervásio Sousa. Atlético Micaelense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sugih Linggawarman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gervásio Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sugih Linggawarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match, Klaus Van Mellart got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beto Rodríguez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th minute, Atlético Micaelense's Vítor Águas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vítor Águas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Micaelense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vítor Águas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of Atlético Micaelense:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SIMvergüenzas a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sugih Linggawarman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa. 0-5. After the first half SIMvergüenzas were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sugih Linggawarman got free with Gervásio Sousa in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Beto Rodríguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 minutes SIMvergüenzas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabrício Coelho who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Fabrício Coelho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SIMvergüenzas's Beto Rodríguez did a great save. 62 minutes into the match, Sugih Linggawarman notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa. Gervásio Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Atlético Micaelense's Telmo Maia got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nechifor Bitănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SIMvergüenzas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Bitănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervásio Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Nechifor Bitănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervásio Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Beto Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leal Cabral in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Palmiro Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Atlético Micaelense's Lu Chen made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Rodríguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SIMvergüenzas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
