In the 2nd match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Marín to maneuver through the defense. Gervásio Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Senna in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Palmiro Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmiro Osório made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vítor Águas immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Atlético Micaelense defense, Artur Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervásio Sousa. The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervásio Sousa should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Artur Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gervásio Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artur Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gervásio Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Micaelense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. He Chen Yong was slow to take the kick. During this time Fesport FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that He Chen Yong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gervásio Sousa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gervásio Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Artur Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervásio Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marta Rey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaus Van Mellart in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Chen in the 41st minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Marta Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervásio Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Lu Chen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marta Rey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Artur Senna made the kick off in the second half. Artur Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's Johan Ekerot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervásio Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. He Chen Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Senna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervásio Sousa. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Fesport FC's Francesco Santome was substituted for Johan Ekerot. With a little luck, Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa got control of the ball when Artur Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper Gervásio Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Senna hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Atlético Micaelense's Geraldo Madureira was substituted for Vítor Resende. Fesport FC made a substitution. Gong Chao Feng replaced Artur Senna. A collision led to Fesport FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Artur Senna hit a great ball. Vítor Águas got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Klaus Van Mellart. Vítor Águas made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fabrício Coelho. The Fesport FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
