A collision led to Calaflores FC. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Conrado Montero hit a great ball. Artur Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Víctor Valdés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Paredes in the 11th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Marta Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphonso Davies's late challenge caught a Fesport FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alphonso Davies helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Calaflores FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alphonso Davies to maneuver through the defense. Marta Rey was a little too slow when Coronel Paredes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Marta Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coronel Paredes's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Artur Senna came free, but Víctor Valdés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fesport FC booed when Calaflores FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Artur Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fesport FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fesport FC's Marta Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Fesport FC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Fesport FC's Artur Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Víctor Valdés narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Coronel Paredes made the kick off in the second half. 2-1 became the score in the 51st minute when Barros Cifuentes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Senna in the 55th minute of play. Marta Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Fesport FC booed when Calaflores FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonso Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Artur Senna notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Calaflores FC.'s Víctor Valdés. Víctor Valdés was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fesport FC's Francesco Santome was substituted for Johan Ekerot. Marta Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Zubiaga in the 70th minute of the match. Víctor Valdés made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Senna in the 74th minute. Artur Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Víctor Valdés made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Fesport FC's zone, Coronel Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marta Rey came out of the goal and Coronel Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Zubiaga in the 83rd minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Marta Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víctor Valdés was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gong Chao Feng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 84 minute of play. Alessandro Marín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Víctor Valdés made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gong Chao Feng sent off a good shot on target. The Fesport FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fesport FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
