After some careless play in the Sobrecastell UD defense, Hamilton Espírito Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barea Martinez. The Sobrecastell UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barea Martinez should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Bodelon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Barroso made a kick off. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Sobrecastell UD from getting a goal against them. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Barroso in the 53rd minute of play. Barea Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Barea Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Albuquerque in the 55th minute. Barea Martinez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Hamilton Espírito Santos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Barea Martinez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barea Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Barroso in the 72nd minute. Alexandre Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Barea Martinez made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Hamilton Espírito Santo could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Barea Martinez however easily saved by the left post. Nuno Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barea Martinez having to interfere. Portucale H5 made a substitution. Hélio De Sousa replaced Hamilton Espírito Santo. Aníbal Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Barea Martinez made a huge save. Barea Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barea Martinez was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Gualter Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualter Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Nuno Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barea Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Barroso got free with Barea Martinez in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Barea Martinez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Portucale H5's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Vale in the 98th minute. The corner ended in Nuno Vale almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez did a great save. When the match was over Portucale H5 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sobrecastell UD throughout the match.
