Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quentin Platt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Zeferino Diegues made a huge save. In the 7th minute Cristopher de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeferino Diegues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi Black Bats's zone, Cristopher de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Brudzisz came out of the goal and Cristopher de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeferino Diegues. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Hermenegildo Rebelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Bacalbașa lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Zeferino Diegues. In the 48th match minute, Bacardi Black Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelito Silva to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cristopher de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Artur Brudzisz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Minho FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Bacardi Black Bats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demetrio Savini took the corner. Minho FC's Demetrio Savini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Brudzisz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zeferino Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 65th minute of the match. Maicon Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bacardi Black Bats's Paulino Maia was substituted for Alexandre Mourinho. Bacardi Black Bats's Eddie Rosen was substituted for Cristóvão França. The supporters of Bacardi Black Bats booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Bacalbașa took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeferino Diegues. Zeferino Diegues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hermenegildo Rebelo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bacardi Black Bats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermenegildo Rebelo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristopher de Alcântara in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Brudzisz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Minho FC made a substitution. Aldo Santana replaced Alberto Paez. In the 89th minute Bacardi Black Bats were awarded a corner. Hermenegildo Rebelo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristopher de Alcântara scored 3-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Brudzisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bacardi Black Bats support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
