Gualter Roriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taras Romanchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Odin was the one to do the kick off. Amedeo De Matteis ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Taras Romanchuk came free, but Gualter Roriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taras Romanchuk in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualter Roriz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Taras Romanchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Odin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 姚斌云 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 90th minute, Juninho Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Odin came free, but 姚斌云 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Fundação Marques dos Reis players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
