The corner ended in Humberto Lleir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott did a great save. Guntademaro Goyenechea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benji Price having to make a save. With a little luck, Dromes FC's Benji Price got control of the ball when Jorge Vicente Squella tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. General Velásquez had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
