The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abner Orden to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Fritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Lolo Acharan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talcampeón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Carlos Alberto Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Lolo Acharan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Toledo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
