After having played for 9 minutes, Sérgio Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Oviedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Oviedo came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Oviedo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. León Telaeche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Amezaga having to interfere. In the 20th minute Caicedo Berrondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drahoslav Putna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drahoslav Putna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caicedo Berrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, TAVHIK FC's Drahoslav Putna got control of the ball when Sérgio Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. TAVHIK FC's Drahoslav Putna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, TAVHIK FC's goalkeeper Drahoslav Putna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Silveira. Drahoslav Putna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caicedo Berrondo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Angelino Oviedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oso Amezaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Oviedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Oviedo to make the kick off. GUAYACO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Drahoslav Putna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mendoza Joseph went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when TAVHIK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenón Colipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of C.A.
