DALO S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Xinto Guerrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salbatore Adelsdorfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Loco Alves got a free kick in the 8th minute. Carlos Ruidio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salbatore Adelsdorfer firmly grabbed it by the left post. After taking down the ball on DALO S.C.'s corner Xinto Guerrez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Salbatore Adelsdorfer quite easily take care of the ball. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Chen Xi in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, DALO S.C.'s Carlos Ruidio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Rui Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romano Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salbatore Adelsdorfer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Putte von der Putten in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon María Guisado in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Figueiras saved DALO S.C. from getting behind. Carlos Ruidio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Salbatore Adelsdorfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Xaiver Urresti put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Lirayén's Xaiver Urresti got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Ruidio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Deportivo Lirayén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was León Careaga who took care of the corner kick. When Putte von der Putten fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave Putte von der Putten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Putte von der Putten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by DALO S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Orlando Quiroga was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Lirayén's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Lirayén's corner Ulryk Redisz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rui Figueiras quite easily take care of the ball. Salbatore Adelsdorfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Guerrez in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romano Bautista came free, but Rui Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Ruidio in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes Deportivo Lirayén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was León Careaga who took care of the corner kick. León Careaga made a great header on DALO S.C.'s corner, it was just that Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Carlos Ruidio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Putte von der Putten in the 93rd minute of play forced Deportivo Lirayén's goalkeeper Salbatore Adelsdorfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salbatore Adelsdorfer came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by DALO S.C.'s Putte von der Putten. But to his dismay, Putte von der Putten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Lirayén players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DALO S.C..
