Colosos Afc were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Deportivo Lirayén's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruperto Taurino took the corner. In the 14th minute, Deportivo Lirayén's Romano Bautista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Colosos Afc getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gogo Florinio hit a great ball. With his leg Fulgencio Vistruario managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Deportivo Lirayén's Ulryk Redisz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Sugar to maneuver through the defense. Salbatore Adelsdorfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Faron in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salbatore Adelsdorfer saved Deportivo Lirayén from getting behind. After 36 played minutes, Deportivo Lirayén's Hugo Orlando Quiroga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fulgencio Vistruario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Lirayén reached it. Fulgencio Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romano Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fulgencio Vistruario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon María Guisado in the 40th minute. Salbatore Adelsdorfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Bautista in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 50 played minutes Colosos Afc got a freekick which was hit by Dante Faron. In the 53rd match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Sugar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dante Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colosos Afc's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salbatore Adelsdorfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Ramon María Guisado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salbatore Adelsdorfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Faron in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Florinio got free with Salbatore Adelsdorfer in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Ruperto Taurino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salbatore Adelsdorfer, passed just outside the right post. Colosos Afc made a substitution. Armando Benet replaced Gogo Florinio. 81 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lirayén's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Gaufred came free, but Salbatore Adelsdorfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Benet in the 82nd minute of play. Dante Faron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Armando Benet put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Salbatore Adelsdorfer. Fulgencio Vistruario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romano Bautista went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Although Deportivo Lirayén had been in control for most of the match, Colosos Afc still came away with the win.
