Xavier Amorini had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Dong Zhou Chen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With an all-out effort, Club Puerto Quito's Xavier Amorini threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dong Zhou Chen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Electric Frankenstein's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diego Narbona was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Puerto Quito's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Club Puerto Quito's corner Diego Narbona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xavier Amorini quite easily take care of the ball. Electric Frankenstein's Xavier Amorini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Zhou Chen in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Galin Tzarvulkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Electric Frankenstein were furious when Miguel Ángel Escobar was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Conrado Leo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 36th minute, Ayoví Costoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roland Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galin Tzarvulkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Electric Frankenstein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tenorio Cuerva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Puerto Quito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Electric Frankenstein had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
