Fernan Llorian came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Jacobo Ortzi. But to his dismay, Jacobo Ortzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Jacobo Ortzi in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Spartak Moscow's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogerio Vilela during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Rogerio Vilela got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Gustavo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, F.C. Spartak Moscow's Carlos Gonzo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cagua Vilarrubia, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the F.C. Spartak Moscow defense, Jacobo Ortzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernan Llorian. The F.C. Spartak Moscow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernan Llorian should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Jacobo Ortzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fernan Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruz Salcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 39 minutes into the game, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Wang Sang Chen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Llorian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jacobo Ortzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Ortzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Llorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Rogerio Vilela made a precise shot to the right of Fernan Llorian. F.C. Spartak Moscow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Ortzi in the 53rd minute of play forced F.C. Spartak Moscow's goalkeeper Fernan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Ortzi in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Colas came free, but Cruz Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. Spartak Moscow's Fernan Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Sang Chen in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Wang Sang Chen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Fernan Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Rogerio Vilela got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gustavo Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cruz Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Colas in the 78th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Kojiro Schneider dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernan Llorian, 0-9. Cesar Colas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Jacobo Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Sang Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Jacobo Ortzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Llorian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
