In the 17th match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Suero to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Tordos de Huejutla got a corner. Tiburones Rojos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A well-hit corner resulted in Qi Bing Zhi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Frutos Macedo hit a great ball. Tordos de Huejutla were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Tiburones Rojos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Birila took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tiburones Rojos's goalie and right to Joel Federigo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tiburones Rojos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rigoberto Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Blas Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferruccio Borrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Unesson in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Ferruccio Borrelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tiburones Rojos's Feliciano Sesuldo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 74th minute Rigoberto Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frutos Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Blas Otoniel made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Aristides Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Aristides Urtsin got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ferruccio Borrelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Bing Zhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ferruccio Borrelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Tordos de Huejutla were the better team. Tordos de Huejutla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
