When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Oto Zuazna put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonatan Parrau. In the 19th minute, one of Copaquire:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Copaquire. Erasto Besosa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jonatan Parrau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oto Zuazna in the 26th minute of play. Oto Zuaznas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jonatan Parrau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Copaquire getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lorenzo Celedón hit a great ball. Jonatan Parrau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oto Zuazna in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Canterano got a corner. Copaquire's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erasto Besosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erasto Besosa made a great header on Canterano's corner, it was just that Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Erasto Besosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canterano's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasto Besosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oto Zuazna might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Parrau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oto Zuazna ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Erasto Besosa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonatan Parrau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canterano. The supporters of Canterano booed when Copaquire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Artaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasto Besosa shot a long shot in the 56th minute and a light blocked Jonatan Parrau hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-0. When Oto Zuazna came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Canterano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oto Zuazna couldn't finish the play. Erasto Besosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Parrau having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Oto Zuazna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Marco Hornedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Canterano's Oto Zuazna in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copaquire's goalie prevented a goal. Oto Zuazna ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goal looked a bit too open when Oto Zuazna came free, but Jonatan Parrau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veli Kartal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Celedón in the 80th minute. If Oto Zuazna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonatan Parrau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oto Zuazna, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Copaquire's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erasto Besosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Canterano's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Oto Zuazna heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Oto Zuazna sped through Copaquire's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonatan Parrau. Veli Kartal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Celedón in the 95th minute. Canterano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
