If Stig Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Enoch came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Amazonas's Natanael Talaga. But to his dismay, Natanael Talaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amazonas's goalkeeper Leon Dytrych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amazonas's Leon Dytrych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Amazonas from getting a goal against them. Leon Dytrych made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Stig Malmgren sent off a good shot on target. union española s.a.'s Enrique Enoch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Talaga in the 30th minute of play. Enrique Enoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavon Pinazas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stig Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes union española s.a. got a freekick which was hit by Mikel Dávila. Stig Malmgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Dytrych having to make a save. After the first half Amazonas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Malmgren was the one to do the kick off. Stig Malmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Dytrych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Stig Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stig Malmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Dytrych. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Malmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Dytrych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Dytrych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Malmgren in the 72nd minute of the match. union española s.a.'s Nauzet Fontaner was substituted for Vicens Espina. A collision led to union española s.a. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mikel Dávila hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Natanael Talaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Enoch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 82 minutes union española s.a.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Carulla who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Amazonas's corner Sotero Closa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Enoch quite easily take care of the ball. Leon Dytrych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Malmgren went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Mikel Dávila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Enoch stood somewhat misplaced when Natanael Talaga came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Although union española s.a. had been in control for most of the match, Amazonas still came away with the win.
