Marcu Tărbac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Goșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC TraLaLa's zone, Isac Goșa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Tărbac came out of the goal and Isac Goșa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Porumboiu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Goșa in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcu Tărbac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Horea Frumușanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcu Tărbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the FC TraLaLa defense, Isac Goșa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcu Tărbac. The FC TraLaLa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Tărbac should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Vasile Leucuța got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Marcu Tărbac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Goșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Isac Goșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcu Tărbac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Frumușanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Marcu Tărbac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Frumușanu in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Aron Bratoloveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Horea Frumușanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Marcu Tărbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Frumușanu in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 minutes FC TraLaLa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dorin Cârstoiu who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th match minute, U Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Goșa to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Leucuța. U Craiova's Horea Frumușanu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Donecea made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ioan Donecea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U Craiova's Nae Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 minutes of play, U Craiova's Horea Frumușanu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcu Tărbac was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcu Tărbac made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Crețulescu in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Ioan Donecea got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marcu Tărbac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Frumușanu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC TraLaLa from getting a goal against them. Cristian Ciocâltea's late challenge caught a U Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Ciocâltea helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of U Craiova booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ciocâltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Narcis Silişteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Ioan Donecea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Horea Frumușanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcu Tărbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 89 minutes into the game, U Craiova's Horea Frumușanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcu Tărbac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The FC TraLaLa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U Craiova were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
