The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mircea Şchiopu lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 4 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Şchiopu. Aigeus Milionis struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Marcu Tărbac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goranesti. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Marcu Tărbac successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Petrin in the 15th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Tărbac made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Gherasim in the 16th minute. FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC TraLaLa from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Gherasim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Petrin in the 18th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Goranesti booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ciocâltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Tărbac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Filip in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigi Filip in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcu Tărbac saved FC TraLaLa from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Nichifor Crașovan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bogdan Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Maxim Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goranesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Pintilie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Ernest Porumboiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After a rather tough play, FC TraLaLa's Adam Dinulescu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Avram Petrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC TraLaLa's Marcu Tărbac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Gherasim in the 56th minute of play. Marcu Tărbac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Filip in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bogdan Gherasim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goranesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Gherasim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Tărbac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goranesti made a substitution. Corneliu Iorgovan replaced Alin Ciutacu. The supporters of Goranesti booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ciocâltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Crașovan's late challenge caught a Goranesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nichifor Crașovan helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Filip in the 87th minute of play forced FC TraLaLa's goalkeeper Marcu Tărbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Bogdan Gherasim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Tărbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, FC TraLaLa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Dănănae to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Petrin came free, but Marcu Tărbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adam Dinulescu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC TraLaLa's protests and gave Adam Dinulescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Adam Dinulescu. Aron Bratoloveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Goranesti players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
