The referee ignored The Alliance's protests and gave Bixente Massardier a yellow card for diving instead. If 陈朋文 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Gaianimas's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Hermansson came free, but Ulrik Rosin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulrik Rosin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Hermansson in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, The Alliance's Evert Offendahl got control of the ball when Većeslav Jelenić tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, The Alliance's goalkeeper Evert Offendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Većeslav Jelenić. 20 minutes into the match, Gaianimas's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Högberg came free, but Ulrik Rosin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Kasper Hermansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Alliance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaianimas the free kick. In the 21st match minute, The Alliance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. Urban Galvan charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urban Galvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gaianimas booed when The Alliance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Većeslav Jelenić came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Gaianimas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Većeslav Jelenić couldn't finish the play. Ulrik Rosin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Hermansson in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Bergdal in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Offendahl saved The Alliance from getting behind. After 32 played minutes The Alliance got a freekick which was hit by Bixente Massardier. After a defensive mix-up in The Alliance's zone, 陈朋文 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Offendahl came out of the goal and 陈朋文 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Alliance's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szczepan Peczkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gaianimas's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Szczepan Peczkowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evert Offendahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jonathan Bergdal made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, The Alliance's goal looked a bit too open when Većeslav Jelenić came free, but Evert Offendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, The Alliance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Rosin to maneuver through the defense. Evert Offendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Većeslav Jelenić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Zidane in the 56th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Evert Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Offendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Većeslav Jelenić, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Örjan Igelström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 陈朋文 in the 67th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of The Alliance:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gaianimas:s goal. After 71 minutes of play, Gaianimas's Jonathan Bergdal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Offendahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulrik Rosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bixente Massardier in the 76th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game 陈朋文 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Alliance's Evert Offendahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Myr in the 87th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Evert Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, CJ Zidane notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of The Alliance's Evert Offendahl. Evert Offendahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gaianimas fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Alliance had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
