Ivan Lundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Charles Kristiansson made a huge save. Carsten Eckstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Löv in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mosh Pit defense, Ivan Lundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Kristiansson. The Mosh Pit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Kristiansson should have stopped the shot. Charles Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdis Kļavlapa in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Jan-Olof Löv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Eckstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carsten Eckstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Löv in the 24th minute of the match. Charles Kristiansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdis Kļavlapa's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Carsten Eckstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Löv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lundberg in the 31st minute of play. Mosh Pit's Charles Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdis Kļavlapa in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, IFK Hedemora's Valdis Kļavlapa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 44th minute Richard Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carsten Eckstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Charles Kristiansson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Hedemora's Robin Söderström. But to his dismay, Robin Söderström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Svanér made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Valdis Kļavlapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdis Kļavlapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Carsten Eckstein successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 55 minutes of play, IFK Hedemora's Bengt Svanér made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Kristiansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of IFK Hedemora booed when Mosh Pit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Enegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdis Kļavlapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Charles Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bengt-Rune Enegren fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosh Pit's protests and gave Bengt-Rune Enegren a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Mosh Pit's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lundberg came free, but Charles Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Svanér struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Charles Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Hedemora. Mosh Pit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Lundberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 83rd minute, Ivan Lundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Kristiansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Charles Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Svanér in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Löv in the 90th minute of play forced IFK Hedemora's goalkeeper Carsten Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that IFK Hedemora were the better team. IFK Hedemora's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
