The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes into the match, Per-Erik Josefsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Pedersson. The FlyFishers Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Erik Josefsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hans Pedersson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when IzmirFK's Peter Vollander shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 12 minutes into the game, IzmirFK's Peter Vollander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Pedersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 17th match minute, The FlyFishers Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Skoog to maneuver through the defense. Hans Pedersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Josefsson in the 19th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Jerry Bremming quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Vollander in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Pedersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Bremming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hans Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes The FlyFishers Club got a freekick which was hit by Charles Axelsson. Hans Pedersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Vollander in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Peter Vollander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Pedersson. The FlyFishers Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Vollander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Per-Erik Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Pedersson having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Harald Drake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half IzmirFK were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Fågel made a kick off. Peter Vollander had several of the The FlyFishers Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Hans Pedersson as he didn't even see the shot coming. 54 minutes into the match, Peter Vollander notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of The FlyFishers Club's Hans Pedersson. Hans Pedersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans Pedersson was a little too slow when Per-Erik Josefsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 60th play minute Peter Vollander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hans Pedersson. 0-9. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Per-Erik Josefsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Hans Pedersson to make any attempt to save it. Hans Pedersson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter Vollander. 69 minutes into the match, Peter Vollander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Pedersson. The FlyFishers Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Vollander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. The audience was convinced that Börje Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's Per-Erik Josefsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Pedersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Harald Drake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IzmirFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The FlyFishers Club the free kick. Harald Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Josefsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hans Pedersson. Per-Erik Josefsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. IzmirFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
