Herbert Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Fredrik Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Herbert Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Warka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kurt Tham came out and tried to block the shot, but Lech Warka slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rickard Johnsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kurt Tham. That made the score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Blågula Fantomer FF's Gabriel Glad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kurt Tham. Kurt Tham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Galatasaray GS's Kurt Tham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Johnsson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Galatasaray GS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Kellman to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Galatasaray GS's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Åkesson came free, but Kurt Tham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Galatasaray GS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Lech Warka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurt Tham, 5-0. A collision led to Galatasaray GS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Thor Kellman hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Blågula Fantomer FF's Urban Skog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kurt Tham. That made the score 6-0 after 38 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the game, Gabriel Jönsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Kurt Tham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kurt Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Galatasaray GS got a freekick which was hit by John Henriksson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Henriksson was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Fredrik Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Tham. Galatasaray GS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Blågula Fantomer FF's Gabriel Jönsson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Gabriel Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bo Tinglöv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Guimarães having to make a save. Fredrik Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Tham having to interfere. Fredrik Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Kurt Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blågula Fantomer FF. In the 70th minute, Rickard Johnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Tham was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Kurt Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Fredrik Olofsson scored 12-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Tham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Gabriel Glad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Tham. Galatasaray GS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Glad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. After some careless play in the Galatasaray GS defense, Rickard Johnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Tham. The Galatasaray GS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Tham should have stopped the shot.
