After 3 played minutes Knox BK got a freekick which was hit by Roger Skog. When Torgny Fernström came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Monia&Ibrahim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Fernström couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Sten Pil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Westerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jack Anundsson's late challenge caught a Monia&Ibrahim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Anundsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Knox BK's Jack Anundsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Samuel Dusett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Westerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Monia&Ibrahim's Torgny Fernström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Westerstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sten Pil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Stefan Westerstrand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Stefan Westerstrand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sten Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Westerstrand having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Knox BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Skog to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Åke Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Joachim Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sjöö having to interfere. Marcus Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Vestlund in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Fernström was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Knox BK's Roger Skog got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute Sten Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Westerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Sten Pil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Westerstrand. Knox BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Pil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alvar Vestlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Sjöö firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stefan Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Pil, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Pil in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Westerstrand saved Knox BK from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Knox BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Fernström came free, but Stefan Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvar Vestlund came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Sjöö could save by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Torgny Fernström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Westerstrand. Knox BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Fernström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Stefan Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Knox BK booed when Monia&Ibrahim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Fernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Knox BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Fernström came free, but Stefan Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Knox BK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Joachim Åström hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Knox BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Fernström came free, but Stefan Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monia&Ibrahim's Marcus Sjöö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Monia&Ibrahim from getting a goal against them. Stefan Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cao Wei Liang in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Torgny Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Westerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monia&Ibrahim had played much better football throughout.
