The audience thought a goal was coming when Gordon Strachan got free with Lillebror Gris in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Leeds United FC's Jan-Ove Ånger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lillebror Gris. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the match, Bibbi Bonkers's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Ånger came free, but Lillebror Gris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Karl-Erik Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leeds United FC's John Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Josefsson in the 15th minute of play. Lillebror Gris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Poniewaz went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bibbi Bonkers from getting a goal against them. When Michael Fribäck fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bibbi Bonkers's protests and gave Michael Fribäck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bibbi Bonkers getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Michael Fribäck hit a great ball. Lillebror Gris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Walery Poniewaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bibbi Bonkers from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Ånger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lillebror Gris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 minutes of play, Leeds United FC's Jan-Ove Ånger made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lillebror Gris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lillebror Gris was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Jan-Ove Ånger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Ove Ånger really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Lillebror Gris made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gordon Strachan sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Gordon Strachan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Vallengren made a kick off. Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Poniewaz in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Gordon Strachan put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lillebror Gris. Gordon Strachan charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gordon Strachan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Strachan to maneuver through the defense. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Kvist in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Jan-Ove Ånger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Aaron Kvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lillebror Gris was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Lillebror Gris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Ånger in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Walery Poniewaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lillebror Gris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Ånger in the 71st minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Bibbi Bonkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Nordal to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Leeds United FC got a corner. Bibbi Bonkers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sture Tolsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Leeds United FC's Sture Tolsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Lillebror Gris despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Leeds United FC's Walery Poniewaz made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lillebror Gris was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Poniewaz in the 94th minute of play forced Bibbi Bonkers's goalkeeper Lillebror Gris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lillebror Gris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Ånger's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Ånger in the 98th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Bror Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
